The Albrighton Woodland Hunt was established in 1908.

The Hunt country lies between the River Severn and the urbanisation of Birmingham.
It covers parts of Worcestershire, Staffordshire, Shropshire and the West Midlands
and runs 15 miles north to south and 25 miles east to west, with Birmingham, Stourbridge,
Dudley and Halesowen all encroaching to the East.
The Hounds are currently hunted by Peter Swann MFH.
Since the enactment of the Hunting Act 2004, the Hunt has adapted the way in which
it operates so as to comply with the provisions of the Act. Until such time that
this prejudiced piece of legislation is repealed, the Hunt will comply with its
terms whilst continuing to draw attention to and protest about its shortcomings
and unfairness.
The Albrighton Woodland Hunt is a friendly hunt, which welcomes visitors and new
subscribers. If you would like further information, please contact either Peter Swann MFHA
or
Mrs S E Jordan Hon. Secretary
